Warm design that lights up any home

We offer a complete installation service, from survey, stove, hearth and surround fitting, chimney lining, design and material options and can provide advice so you choose the right stove for your heating requirements. Gas Safe registered engineer: open & closed gas fire installations, gas flues & gas service on appliances.

The fireplace is the heart of the home.  What better way to add warmth and ambience to a room than with a cast iron stove or an open fire?

Create a real feature in your home using our 'Survey and Design' service which will guide you through various style and design options to create the look that you want.

Traditionally stand alone cast iron stoves are sited in the catchment area/builders opening, however with new innovative designs and more contemporary looks appealing inset stoves and rigid flue systems are also possible options.

Stoves are 3 - 4 times more efficient at providing heat output than an open fire as the temperature can be easily controlled via air intakes.

Cleanburn or Cleanheat wood burning systems recycle the gases (unburned hydrocarbons) created when wood is burnt by circulating the airflow back into the stove allowing these to be burnt off. This reduces emissions and soot particles whilst increasing heat output for no additional fuel resource and creates additional flames for an even more comforting fire.

Contact us for the installation of a stove or fireplace or for any questions you may have about your chimney system and how to use your fireplace in a way that doesn’t negatively impact the environment.

Open up your Hearth and let the warmth in

Traditionally an open fire was a fixture in many homes consisting of an exposed fire in a grate.  Nowadays there are multiple options for an open fire design including;

Fire brick high chair

Cast panels

Pup and scone brick opening

Cast insets with slips and surround

Fire opening with plaster return finish & slips

Various materials and components can be diversified to create an open fire in a style of your liking however the overall dimensions are ultimately determined by the size of the flue.

Stove

The Defra Approved Hampton 5 is one of the most up to date and cleanest wood burning stoves sold in the UK.

The Hampton 5 boasts some of the lowest combined readings of NOx, CO and dust of any wood burning stove sold in the UK. In response to the government's initiatives to lower such emissions from wood burning stoves, you can rest assured that you have one of the cleanest stoves for sale in the UK. This unrivalled clean burn has been achieved by the quality engineering exhibited in all Hampton models. All bodies are made from thick steel plate that is perfectly folded and welded together, ensuring no air can leak into the stove.

The hidden gem of this stove is its internal shell - effectively another stove inside the stove, where air is drawn in from the stove's rear, fed between these two layers of steel and precisely dispersed over the fire at the rear, through a series of holes inside the chamber. Having the air introduced high up in chamber is an effective way of re-burning the initial smoke and pollutants created by the fire. The air that is not dispersed through these holes speeds up as it rises over the fire and is released like a curtain of air over the glass. This heating effect speeds the air up and is the most effective way of keeping the glass clean. Under the stove is the simple push pull lever that gives an incredibly accurate degree of control over the fire as the vent plate is mechanically attached to the body. The Hampton has a 30mm thick virgin ore cast iron door that helps retain and slowly release the heat into the room in conjunction with the stove's thick steel body. Going into the door is the stove's unique handmade twist handle with wooden lever. As with all parts of the Hampton they are well designed and engineered but not over-complicated. The manufacturer offers a 7 year warranty on this product.
